The Teno Stories of 2016
It’s an honour to realize that Teno App has come a long way. There couldn’t be anything more promising than the year 2016. We saw teachers, and we saw their unique approach of using Teno. We saw parents, and we saw how they got more involved in the lives of their children like never before. We saw School Principals and Admins putting utmost efforts to improve performance at schools. Really, it’s been commendable so far.
We didn’t only learn from our lovely community but are ending the year with a life-changing impact on students, which eventually has left us cheering over the successful year.
Here’s a glimpse on what our schools have to say about it.
They have been using Teno since a long time now. The tech savvy teaching staffs at school have efficiently made groups for all their classes and committees. Here, teachers send classwork and homework updates to parents on a daily basis. And both parents and teachers ensure that there is no stone left unturned in progress of the kid. They also send photos of all the extra-curricular activities happening in their school. Parents feel rest assured. Moreover, they get to glance their kids’ moments at school – May it be the kid’s performance on annual day or the kid’s fancy dress competition.
“These days the school needs to give constant feedback to let the parents know that their child is learning and is getting opportunities to grow and evolve. With Teno App, we have been able to establish a community of parents†says, Indu Yadav, Vice Principal of the school.
Lodha World School, Thane
Lodha World School has been using Teno App for consecutive second year now. Teno has replaced the traditional method of circulars and notice boards at LWS. Real-time communication via Teno makes it possible for LWS to communicate all important information, share notes and make announcement post school hours and keeping the parents posted on their child’s progress.
“Teno has help us to achieve a collaborative parent and school learning environment which is really important in today’s fast changing dynamic scenario†– Mrs. Asha Narayanan, Principal of Lodha World School
Greenwood High School, Bangalore
The teachers of Greenwood High school found that they were tech savvy enough to be extensively using Teno’s one-to-one feature. This helps them to give personal feedback to parents about their children. First of all, Teno is the only one of its kind app and the best part about is, it gives a personalized kind of experience to the user. Furthermore, we found that the teachers have been getting overwhelming response from parents; moreover they’re almost having fun using stickers on the app to reply to the teachers.
“We feel that giving immediate feedback to the parents about their children helps improve their performance. Parents have also appreciated this and Teno has helped us in doing so†– Louis Dias, Principal of Greenwood High School
Hill Top School, Jamshedpur
Hill Top School has been using Teno App a little before the rest of the schools. They find Teno convenient and necessary to communicate emergency situation to parents, like “school will be shut due to rains,†to parents. Apart from this, they don’t miss out on the most important use of Teno, which is to send homework and classwork updates and share photos with parents. We’re just glad to have been able to collaborate with progressive schools in easing the lives of students and parents as one of their important objectives.
“The best part about Teno is instant communication. Lot of questions get addressed immediately. Teno has created a fraternity of teachers, students and parents.†– Punneta Chouhan, Principal of Hill Top School
